Bengre Headland is a natural breakwater protecting downtown Mangalore from the vagaries of the sea. It is a 8 Km long piece of land and 1/2 Km wide, with Gurupur River on one side and Arabian Sea on the other.The natural beauty of this place attracts thousands of tourists.
